Joseph was a carpenter he led a good life,
He had promised to make Mary his wife.
When he heard about her baby he wasn't so keen,
then an angel turned up in the middle of a dream.

So he went to see Mary the very next day.
He said we'll get married it'll be alright then
when some soldiers turned up and said go to Bethlehem.
