Nothing needed.
Ask the players to do something, for example
stand on one leg, by using the refrain "Simon Says"
and then the command "stand on one leg". If you use the refrain "Simon
Says" then the players should follow the command. If you do not use
"Simon Says" e.g. you just say "stand on one leg" then the players
should not follow your command. If a player does something that Simon
did not say to do then the player is out. The winner is the last one
left in the game.
If you want to use the game for a lesson starter you can supplement the
name Simon with one more appropriate.
A practice round is well worth it to allow players to get to grips with
the commands.
Commands are up to the game leader. If you have a lot of space you can
have commands with a lot of movement involved. e.g. running from one
end of the hall to the other. If space is restricted then have commands
that can be carried out on the spot. e.g. jumping on the spot, folding
your arms etc.
