How to play

Two teams compete.
Each team line up at opposite ends of the hall. A chair is placed in the middle of the line at each end of the hall.
One member of the team goes to the opponents end and stands on the chair at the opposite end of the hall. The player on the chair holds the stick. At the start the game leader throws in the quoit to the middle of the hall. The player of each team then try to get the quoit. Once the quoit is obtained by a player the player may not move. The other team members are also not allowed to knock the quoit out of the players hands. The player with the quoit must try to pass the quoit to other team members with the aim of getting the quoit onto the stick of their player on the chair at the opponents end. No player except the one standing on the chair is allowed to touch the stick.
No player is allowed to move with the quoit.
No player is to knock the quoit from an opponent.
No player may kick the quoit
The stick holder may not bring the stick down lower than shoulder height.
At half time the team may change its stick holder.
Each time a goal is scored the game is restarted as at the start. 5 minutes should do for each game.
