How to play

Each team is to sit in a line along the length of the room. A chair or table is to be placed for each team at opposite ends of the room so that there should be a few meters to run before the player reaches the table. The chair (or table) at one end of the room is called the Bank and the one at the other end of the room is called the Post Office. Each team has an account at the Bank and at the Post Office. At the start of the game 20p is placed in the Post Office of each team. The coinage should be made up as shown above with all teams having the same coinage. The game starts by the game leader calling how much they require in the Bank and then on the word go the first team member must run to the Post Office and take out the required amount and put it into the Bank. The next team member has to follow the next instruction. The team members will need to keep a mental note of what money they have in each account. After each command a point is awarded to whichever team completes the task first. Problems will be encountered by team members when they arrive at the Post Office or Bank and do not have the correct change to carry out the task, hence they will then have to get change from their other account until the correct amount is in each account.
