1 Slipper on a rope or thick string. The string should be about half the width of the hall you use.
The game leader stands in the middle of the hall
with the rope and slipper.
The players form a circle around the team leader. The circle should be
a large as the hall allows without the players being close to the wall.
No other objects should be in the area of the circle.
The team leader twirls the slipper around attached to the rope at floor
height. As the rope is let out to its full length the players step in
and jump over the slipper as it comes towards them. If anyone is hit by
the slipper then they are out, they should go out of the circle and
spectate from the side.
The team leader may when starting the slipper after getting someone
out, change direction. Also once they have mastered twirling the
slipper they may also be able to change the speed so as to catch
players out.
Care should be taken that if a player is caught in the rope and falls
to the floor they are not liable to hit anything. e.g. a radiator.
The game leader must keep the slipper and rope low to the floor and not
allow it to leave the floor more than a few inches.
