How to play

The players are to form a large circle. If in a small space the a line may be easier. The game leader will throw the ball to the player who should catch the ball and then throw back the ball to the game leader. If a player drops the ball or fails to return the ball properly to the game leader then that player is out. When the player is out they should sit down in the circle or line so that they remain a spectator in the game.

Too easy?

Try the following variations.
Throw the ball high up in the air after signaling which player is to catch it.
Throw the ball so that it is just short of the position of the player who is to catch it.
Throw the ball hard ,for older players, or soft.
Have more than one person in the circle throwing the ball.
Throw the ball to the players at random.
Look at a player whilst throwing the ball to another.
Use a small ball, or a very large one, etc. etc.
If in a area where damage could be done by a ball use a soft ball e.g. foam.
